HI IM 17 years old my dad applied for my green card and it been 3 years i still did not get it they had sent me to go get my fingerprint taken but i had ran away home and missed the appointment date my sister just got her approval.please can someone help or advise me im almost done with school and i wanna attend college and get a job

My PD is Sep 2004 EB3. If I decide to move to another employer who could also file an EB2 labor for me, how long should I wait before they could file a EB2 perm application for me?
Suppose I apply for a position by replying to a job posting (advertisement) on monster.com or dice.com and I get that job, can the company use the same ad for applying for my PERM labor?

My wife is from Bangalore, however since Chennai did not have available dates till Jan 20th she has scheduled her H4 appointment at New Delhi for Jan 9th. Please share experiences.

Hi,
I have been in US for last 2 years on L1 B and my L1 expires in Dec 09.I My company has already applied for renewal. I wanted to know is it possible to file Green Card, once my petition is renewed, on my own even if employer is not interested in doing it. I am ready to pay my expenses and get it filed. Just wanted to know if it is possible. I have been with my employer for 4 years.

All Employment Based green cards must be filed/sponsored by an employer.
You cannot file by yourself.

I don't think anybody ask for an EVL at POE! And even if they ask, there are no 'format' requirements. If you want, you can just take a standard EVL mentioning your salary, duration of work and title - that should be it.

The purpose behind this move is to make the process more efficient and to reduce fraud by having each service center specialize in processing a particular form. But if the BECs are anything to go by, I will be surprised if this doesn't make things worse.

I have a valid AP approved on Oct 13, 2007. The H1B visa stamped on my passport expired in Mar 2007. I have a valid one year H1B approval till Mar 2008. I do not have the original I797 approval notice but have a scanned copy of it. Now if I have to travel out of country in July and enter back on AP will there be any trouble at the POE with not having the original approval notice of last H1B.

I am a July 07 filer. Recently I sent in EAD renewal application and got it approved within a month. When I saw my EAD card the Sex category on it was F instead of M. Now what are my option. Should I reapply for EAD or continue working on it. I changed my employer last month and am currently working on EAD.

Here's the press release for the new Leica Digilux two.
My observations:
1. The hot-shoe is near the left corner, similar to F2AS. This implies ...
2. The odd looking middle top plate must be for data display
3. It's no Leica-M, corners not right, much thicker body, lacks view windows, ...
If not for the Leica and Leitz words, it can easily be mistaken as a Rollei!

But you may be able to apply for transfer and 3 year extension with the new employer after you get your I-140 approval. Pls check with your lawyer.

I am a labour substitution case pd feb 2002 filed 140 in June at NSC. My 140 has been pending for more than a year. Now recently I received 2 year ead.
Does this imply my 140 is approved too???
Is it safe to work on ead of one gets 2 year ead with pending 140.??

I do not understand why they grant EADs when your I-140 is not approved. The reason I bring this up is if a person loses his/her job and your I-140 is revoked, the EAD is useless. You cannot use AC21 for that because your I-140 is not approved.
Nebraska center is doing nothing regarding I-140 EB-3 (India) apps. The I-140 date at Nebraska has beeing moving by 1 day per month for the last 7-8 months. It is stuck at March 30th 2007. Moreover, the latest "as of" i.e. "report" date that you see on Nebraska is July 31st 2008. It is not current (Sept 2008) as many of you may think.
I understand that they receive 1000s of applications but that is no excuse for incompetence. As of July 31st, it was taking them 1 year and 4 months and now it is 1 year and 6 months to process I-140.
Why don't they re-institute expedited I-140 approval?
