Processing of 140 applications in NSC now takes 9 to 12 months . The movement of dates only will make things worse for processing of all the applications.

I work for Employer A (who holds my H1) and I have an approved I-140 from Employer B, I-485 pending. Am due for H1B renewal this Dec, can I use my I-140 Approval (done from Employer B) to get 3 year extension when Employer A applies ?

Congresswoman Zoe Logfren & & senator John Cornyn are supporters of legal immigration, they have always come forward to help the legal immigrant community. I guess it is high time people from California & Texas write & call to their offices and complaint about USCIS/DOS action of not releazing and statistics on I-485 applications pending invarious categories. We are blind folded by these Visa bulletins with no idea of what there for EB-3, EB-2 India, China etc. we don't know how many people are ahead of us what to do next. All this will resolve it USCIS/DOS tells us how many applications they have pending from which country and which category....For that we need to call these lawmakers..

Just got an email from Expedia.com - fares from Bay Area to Wash. D.C. have dropped by about $50 - the cheapest fares today (9/06/2007):
- SFO - BWI (US Airways) $208
- OAK - DCA (ATA): $218
- SJC - BWI (Continental): $218
The fares shouldn't be a reason to not participate in the rally! Hope to see more folks from CA - Norcal & SoCal.

Bottomline - if you are considering converting your LC case from TR to RIR, then your employer must send an email to DOL by Jan 20th and complete recrutiment process by April 1 ( or else case will be closed without recourse to appeal).

Do not do this - please stop playing around with USCIS rules. There are sometimes unfortunate circumstances where folks lose status (e.g., OPT -> H1b) or are kept in dark about their H1B status by employers but for folks who break the law in a way that you are suggesting, I believe they should be punished.

Here's one question I have which I haven't see in any forums so far (perhaps its lurking somewhere .. who knows) ... let me get to the point.
When filing for AOS/485, if the I-140 that was filed prior to filing AOS was pending and gets approved AFTER 485 was filed... should we explicitly inform USCIS that that 140 was appoved ?
I guess USCIS should have that information (of course!) but I am not sure if we should be pro-active and make sure we inform the service center that the 140 was approved ?!

She will have to go out of country and get stamping for H4 if her spouse is maintaining H1.
Automatic validation does not happen..
I need help for my friend. My Friend's spouse on H4 started to work on EAD. She does not work (or if she gets laid off), will she automatically get her H4 status? If not, what does she need to do to get back on H4. Her husband is on H1.

Hi metguh!
You cannot adjust the brightness of an object in Blend. What you can do, though, is alter the opacity or transparency.
For best practice from going from PS to Blend, what I would do is rasterize the image and import that image into your Blend project. Silverlight supports images that are PNG and JPEG.

Hello,
My husband is on pending I-485 MTR & my denied I-140 is in appeal. My husband has to apply for H-4 status based on my approved & stamped H-1 status.
My Queries:
1) I am told that he cannot apply from USA as his I-485 is denied and he is pending I-485 MTR?
2) Can he apply for canadian visa for H4 consulate processing even though he doesn't have valid USA stamp on his passport? All we have is pending I-485 MTR receipt & my pending appeal letter from AAO office.
3) How safe is it to apply from canada?
Your response will be highly appreciated.

Most of the shots given are booster shots. Two MMR shots?
Varicella needs to be taken twice at 1 month intervals, however most doctors sign and seal the package when you take the first varicella shot and then ask you to come back one month later and take the 2nd shot, if not, you can insist the doctor to do so.
Needed shots are MMR, TD and Varicella, all others are Age unappropriate for us(atleast the applicants and spouses).

How do I find out who gave me the "RED" reputation, I am a harmless person not making any personal comments on anybody in this forum, wonder why someone gave the red to me . Can someone pls let me know how to find out who gave me the red, can anybody do this to anyone or has this been done by admin ?
