I may have to use it for work from January as I am invoking AC21. I am confused now whether to re-apply or just use it like as it is.
My attorney informed USCIS about the typo error when they received the AOS receipts , but it looks like EAD Card was ordered before USCIS was notified. My Advance Parole has also mis-spelled Lastname. I have USCIS letter confirming typo error attached to my case. Would this be a sufficient proof that my EAD has a different Lastname which is only a typo error?

so from this link and answer to question number 4, I take you can't even get a license to be a real estate agent in the state of NY, let alone someone sponsor your greencard. Sorry to be so brutal, but with a Master's degree I bet u can get a much better job than a real estate agent. Just my 2 cents.

i had the same situation. your friend can apply for H1-B coz he is already counted. He'll loose whatever time that he is used on EAD and get the remaining time that is left on his 6 year period. If 6 years is already passed, he can still file for H1-B based on labor, 140 approval. In my case, my H1-B got denied coz of employer issues and i have an another H1-B with another company. Mean while i have filed AC21 with my new employer to be able to work..Hope this helps..

Your situation is complicated.
There is a 240 days rule to stop working, if H1B is pending for an approval.
It is for working with the same employer. Transfer may be diffrent.
But since it is a premium process, and your I-94 is expired, you need to be very careful.
You are now out of staus, I fear.
So rush to a good lawyer and contact USCIS.

per my OP, my physical receipt said my "RECEIPT date" is July 30th.
but the ONLINE status said "it was RECEIVED on Sept 5th"\
I was mainly concern about the wording on the online statis "received on..."
how did you determine I was a NSC-CSC-NSC transfer case from that?

Systems were designed when as soon as mail was recieved, it was entered in the system. Therefore, for practical purposes, data entry date was the receive date. Many centers, when they claim, "we process cases in order we receive them...", or "our processing is within prescribed time schedule limits...", they treat this data entry date as the received date (as they think until it reached them for data entry, it is not their responsibility). When files are shuffled around, there may be a big difference in these dates, but no one has ever clarified that issue.

When you get the statement from an India bank, ask them to include the USD amount as of that date. That way you have both USD and INR amount in the statement.

It is $305. No additional biometric fee is needed for AP. No FP is needed if you apply on paper. If you efile, USCIS may decide to call you for biometric.

I am in your stage. I am in AOS stage with EAD. I applied for FAFSA and I do qualify under 'Qualified Non-Citizen.' But, the school financial aid office was not aware of my situation and it took more than a month for me to educate and make them aware of this.
The FAO people only know about GC or Citizen. You will have to talk to the
School's International Office to evaluate your situation and ask them to talk to your FAO to explain about your immigration status.

Thats not the case. USCIS will revoke employment based AOS since mariage based AOS has higher priority. ...
May I ask, where did you get this (incorrect) info from? Do you know that one can file only I-485 that is linked to I-130 as well as I-140. Read I-485 form.

You cant file H1 on your own. You need ur employers signature on it and ur employer has to file the petition. Even if you beat all that it is still very very risky to file on your own.
I strongly discourage the word "Attorney" for everything. Just because of memebers like kriskris these Attroney's are living lavishly. What the heck these Attroneys know that we don't know. Don't we know how to write our names? Don't we know how to fill an application form? Please stop saying "Attroney" for everything. These are not complex things. Please note according to one survey 70% of Americans don't know how to fill Bank application. Attroneys are just making the money out of this situation.

The RFE is about on what basis i am eligible to extend H1B?. I sent copy of my 485 receipt and MTR copy & letter from my current employer explaining my 485 is pending more than 365 days and AC21 we requested for H1 extension.I thought i am going to get only one year but ..got 3 year extension.If you need more details PM me your phone or email .Will glad to help you
